Christmas carol backing tracks in MultiTrack and Split Track format

Christmas carols and backing tracks

Not all churches have a full complement of musicians for their Christmas services but still want a full band sound.

MultiTracks and Split Track backing tracks are a great option for musical accompaniment for contemporary sounding carols. And, if you do have some musicians, they can play along with our MultiTracks with the backing track simply filling in for missing instruments.

Download individual songs and use them immediately. No subscription needed simply download and play. Simple, honest, low cost pricing.

A huge selection of Christmas carol backing tracks

We have a huge selection of carols and Christmas songs from classics like O Come All Ye Faithful, to contemporary worship songs such as Paul Baloche’s Christmas Offering to songs Mary, Did You Know and My Grown-Up Christmas List.

You can see the full list here. It’s in alphabetical order and you can click to select MultiTrack, Split Track or Chord Chart and then Add to Basket.

How do the Christmas Carols sound?

The video below contains a short audio sample of selected carols so you can hear the general quality and contemporary approach. The song melody and lyrics are unchanged from the traditional carols but the music is updated with a modern worship band sound.

On the website you can select any song and listen to a 30 second audio sample.

What format of backing track do you need?

MultiTracks are the simplest and least expensive solution to get a full band sound from your worship team, even if you’ve only got a couple of musicians. You’ll need a copy of the Worship Backing Band MultiTrack Player which is easy-to-use and has features such as repeating song sections, and changing key and tempo – just like a live band.

Split Tracks are simple-to-use, low cost MP4 video backing tracks. They are ideally suited for smaller churches without musicians. A great alternative to MultiTracks for churches on a budget that want simple, quality backing tracks. Split Tracks feature on-screen words that change in time with the music. You can choose to have no vocals (for karaoke-style worship) or have full vocals and backing vocals in the mix.

Christmas carol chord charts

One other benefit of using Worship Backing Band backing tracks is that our arrangements are easy to play for musicians that are perhaps not classically trained. Guitar chords in particular are notoriously difficult to play in traditional choral arrangements. Our arrangements and the accompanying chord charts are simplified and you’ll not find yourself having to change chord every other note.
